Modeling of flows with the power-law spectral densities and power-law distributions of flow’s intensities

چکیده
We present analytical and numerical results of modeling of flows represented as the correlated non-Poissonian point process and as the Poissonian sequence of pulses of the different size. Both models may generate signals with the powerlaw distributions of the intensity of the flow and the power-law spectral density. Furthermore, different distributions of the interevent time of the point process and different statistics of the size of pulses may result in 1/f noise with 0.5 . β . 2. Combination of the models is applied for modeling of the Internet traffic.

Theoretical and Experimental Study of Falling- Cylinder Rheometer
The present study attempted deriving and solving the falling- cylinder governing equations for power law model non-Newtonian fluids. Based on this theoretical study, a novel falling- cylinder rheometer (FCR) was designed and constructed to measure the Theological properties of non-Newtonian fluids. Different falling cylinders with predesigned densities were used to determine the apparent viscos...
متن کاملMODELING THE HOT DEFORMATION FLOW CURVES OF API X65 PIPELINE STEEL USING THE POWER LAW EQUATION
Till now, different constitutive models have been applied to model the hot deformation flow curves of different materials. In this research, the hot deformation flow stress of API X65 pipeline steel was modeled using the power law equation with strain dependent constants. The results was compared with the results of the other previously examined constitutive equations including the Arrhenius eq...
متن کاملApplication of Power-Law Frequency Fractal Model for Recognition of Vertical Cu Distribution in Milloieh Porphyry Deposit, SE Iran
Identification of the vertical and horizontal distributions for elemental grades is of an important sign in different mineral exploration stages. The main aim of this work is to determine the vertical distribution directional properties of Cu values in the Milloieh Cu porphyry deposit, Kerman (SE Iran) using the power-law frequency fractal model. This work is carried out based on four mineraliz...
متن کاملStudy of HMS Modified ZrO2 Supported Platinum Catalysts for Toluene Removal: Catalytic Combustion and Kinetics Study
Reaction behaviors and kinetics of catalytic oxidation of toluene with different feed flows over Pt/Zr(x)-HMS catalysts with Si/Zr ratio equal to 5, 10, 20 and 35 were investigated over a wide temperature range (200 – 500 oC). Results show that Pt/Zr(x)-HMS performs more easily toluene oxidation. The kinetic data were fitted by the Power-law and Mars–van Krevelen kinetic models. The fitting res...
متن کاملEffects of Power-Law Distribution and Exponential with Uniform Pressures on Vibration Behavior of Reinforced Cylindrical Shell Made of Functionally Graded Materials under Symmetric Boundary Conditions
In this paper, the influence of the constituent volume fractions by changing the values of the power-law exponent with uniform pressure on the vibration frequencies of reinforced functionally graded cylindrical shells is studied. The FGM shell with ring is developed in accordance to the volume fraction law from two constituents namely stainless steel and nickel. These constituents are graded th...
